Hi Joe and Cheryl, We just wanted to thank you for the photos and tell you how much we are loving our new pup. She is so lovely, frisky, sweet and loving. She has bonded beautifully with our family and with our older dog, Maggie. She was so well trained by you two that she has had few accidents and figured out how to use the doggie door within her first day here--certainly no lack of brains in her background! We have decided to register her with the AKC as "Elizabeth Diamond in the Ruff" and call her "Lizzy" for everyday use. The "Diamond in the Ruff" part comes from that sweet diamond of white on the back of her neck. As you can tell, we are completely in love! Lizzy went to have her first visit to the vet last week and she commended you on her care, especially in light of the fact that Lizzy appears to be completely free of any parasites. The vet commented that she often sees pups from private breeders that have not been properly cared for and are lacking the appropriate weight gains etc. because of too little care. So, kudos to you for your excellent care of our sweetie. We'll have some photos downloaded soon and will send copies to you. Thanks again for our great pup and we will recommend you to anyone who is looking for a Corgi in the future. In fact, who knows, we may decide at some point that three might be a good number of Corgis for our house! We'll see! Take care, Nicole Fields

This is "Just Jack". He has quite a following in his hometown. He attends Church regularly, He is quite the babe magnet at the local Starbucks, too. I think Jack is working on getting his own website but due to the lack of opposable thumbs may need some assistance from his human friends. One of his fans even put a blog on his personal website at jasonhafer.com... Real Men Read Books- A Guide To True Manhood So i was sitting at Starbucks today with Arean, Lacey and Jack. Here’s a word of warning: even though Jack doesn’t say much, whatever he says is a big pile of poop (I changed his word to poop). To plainly put it-Jack can’t be trusted. I wouldn’t leave him alone with my kids. Heck, I wouldn’t leave him alone with my pets. We were all sitting around discussing books and stuff and I had brought up the book “15 reasons” and Jack (who up to this part of the conversation had said nothing) decided to chime in on how much he hated it. #1 Jack knows I love that book, and I am great friends with the author Toby Mekeel #2 I don’t even think Jack knows how to read #3 If Jack knew how to read he would realize how awesome 15 reasons is I do have to admit...Jack may be as dull as a butter knife, but he’s a good judge of character.

Belle and Monty
I have been meaning to email you for several weeks now.
Monty and Miss Belle are doing quite well with their obedience training. They are both really good at "sit", "down" and sometimes "stay" as long as there are good treats involved. Next class is on "come", and they are supposed to be practicing their staying ability with lots of distractions. They get confused by the distractions, like if I say "stay" and then Brad walks by, or if we walk behind them or over them, making random noises is the worst- they want to come see what you're saying.
Miss Belle weighs about 25 pounds now, and Monty is almost 18! We finally figured out how to make sure that he eats all of his food.
There is some weird connection in his brain that makes him wait until we ask him to play ball before he will eat. So someone has to sit and ask him "where's your ball?", he will go get it and then stop to eat.
Sometimes you have to ask 2 or 3 times before he will finish his whole meal. He even waits when he is really hungry. He will squeak his ball and whine if he wants to eat.
Also, we were wondering if we could come over on the 17th or 18th for a few minutes to return your crate. We are getting a new kennel for Christmas that is big enough for both puppies (it has a divider to separate them and it folds flat for traveling). So we wanted to return yours to you (secretly, we just want to see the new puppies ;-) ).
I think that is all.
-Katy

Hey Guys, Wanted to give you an update on the most wonderful puppy in the world! We named him Radar, after Radar O'Reilly on M*A*S*H. It suits him as he does seem to anticipate our every move, and is always right there at my foot. Someone must have taught him "Sit" since he did that right away. He is also extremely well behaved, exuberant and a cuddle bunny. He has learned, "Come" and we are working on "Stay." He is training to go outside beautifully. You obviously did a fabulous job preparing him for his life in a family! He has had very few accidents in the house, and those were before he trained us. Anyway, I've attached an updated photo for you. Just wanted to thank you so much for raising such a great little guy and also for letting us adopt him. We are all completely in love. Kate, Glenn (& Kristen - our daughter, his favorite playmate)
